Efficient Futures was founded by Jonathan Hornbeck, a data engineering and automation leader with more than 16 years of experience working in complex, data-intensive, and highly regulated business environments.
Jonathan has led data engineering teams, developed business automation, worked with enterprise technology platforms, and helped lead AI adoption within a large organization. His experience sits at the intersection of business operations, data, technology, and organizational change.
That combination matters because a good idea is not enough. A solution must work with the company's existing systems, make financial sense, earn the confidence of employees, and continue working after the initial project is finished.
Jonathan's strongest skill is seeing the whole problem. He can move between the executive goal, the way work is actually performed, the underlying technology, and the people who will ultimately determine whether the solution succeeds.

What we believe about AI
